Featuring works in oils, watercolour and pastels, the exhibition explores Australian landscapes, vibrant florals, portraiture and still life through dramatic brushwork and unique artistic vision.

Join us for the exhibition opening celebration:

Experience the exhibition alongside the artists, with the official opening by internationally renowned palaeoartist and author Peter Trusler, author of Thrice Told: The Psychological Evolution of the Artist.

The Pieces of Paper group exhibition opened to a crowd of more than 150 people in May, marking a significant moment for the medium of paper.

With over 20 artists showcasing their work across Galleries 1–3, the exhibition made one thing clear: paper as a creative medium has never been more vital, more inventive, or more celebrated.

The official opening was delivered by internationally renowned paper-sculpture artist Ray Besserdin, who took the opportunity to share a rich and illuminating perspective on the material that binds all the works in the exhibition. Congratulations to Kelly Kondis, winner of the People’s Choice Award at the Continuum exhibition for her stunning oil painting, 'Unfastened Time'.

Artist statement:
“Time’s labour carries memory from earth to sky, where forest becomes living continuum. Mossed trunks, shadowed canopies, and mountain moisture hold cycles of ev***ration and return. Oil’s viscous luminosity mirrors this density; layered pigment embeds duration. Forest becomes v***r, rain restores earth. Ongoing transformation, sustaining continuity within one atmospheric system.”

Kelly was presented with a trophy and a $150 gift certificate generously donated by our sponsor Art Boards Australia.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited the exhibition and cast their vote.
