The Art Eclectic

The Art Eclectic Artist and writer exploring digital art in all its moods. Some pretty, some strange, all made to make you feel something. You’ll see all kinds of styles here.

I’m an artist and writer exploring what digital art can do. Some bright and beautiful, some strange, some that make you stop and think. That’s what art should do. You can find my prints and designs on Redbubble:

Your feedback matters. What you like, comment on, or share helps decide what ends up in the shop. I also wrote The Gift of "No". It’s the first in a series I’ve been building for years. You can find it on Amazon:

Dark Irises Wait Patiently,
beneath a crimson painted sky.

Watching their final sunset,
without a worry or a why.

Jenny Too-Many had too many thoughts,
They cluttered the room where she sat.

She’d brooded a thousand idea-eggs,
And ten thousand more after that.

Some grew into flowers.
Some grew into birds.
Some grew inconveniently wise.

Yet Jenny had troubles no idea could cure,
No wonder could kindle surprise.

The Parcel Bird watched from the arm of the couch
While her fresh little notions were hatched.

It warbled them neatly from egg into world,
With a skill that no thinker had matched.

Around her lay relics of marvels discarded,
Their astonishment died long ago.

Ideas that had sacrificed all of their flesh
For the moment's delight they'd bestow.

Jenny glanced over each one in turn
And merely sank into a sigh.

She preferred to sit silent and bored on the couch,
Than to force her mood into a lie.

As a Too-Many she lived up to her name,
And knew every wonder by view.

The Gardens provided a plethora of thoughts.
But she needed something new.

Remain Calm

Visitors are advised not to become alarmed during periods of heavy balloon activity.

The spheres are generally harmless and will drift away once conditions improve.

Should a sphere begin following you, please remain calm.

You have probably been thinking about something for too long.
