The Poppies

Call

The Poppies The Poppies is a contemporary, a ca****la group of eight experienced singers, rehearsing in Montmorency.

The Poppies have been performing as a quartet around Melbourne since 2011, with a voluptuous and contemporary pop repertoire and well as Christmas season songs. We're looking for new singers as we aim to build up to a team of eight, so please get in touch! Our goal is to have fun singing together in the rehearsal room, and occasionally show off in public.

Thank you and congratulations to all of the wonderful singers who joined us on stage during today’s concert, Kaleidoscope! With just a few hours’ rehearsal, you nailed all four songs, and I can’t wait to show you the videos!

There will definitely be more workshops and concerts to come, with Christmas just around the corner…

Come sing with us!
We're looking for new singers (especially top sops!) to join our current seven songstresses, as we aspire to add new richness to our gorgeous a ca****la arrangements. We sing pop music from a wide range of eras, spanning barbershop classics, mid-century and modern showtunes, right through to contemporary hits. 🎶
Rehearsing fortnightly on Sundays 4-6pm in Montmorency, we're all about enjoying singing together in a low-stress, high-skill environment. And whenever we feel like it, we find opportunities to show off, so you may have seen us in Watsonia, Eltham, Diamond Creek, Hurstbridge and Research over the carolling season!
If you have the time and choral talents, contact us to organise an audition 🥰
