Masquerade Youth Productions Inc is a not-for-profit incorporated organisation, producing inclusive performance opportunities for youth with non professional youth productions in a fun & friendly environment. Since 2014, audiences have been entertained by Masquerade Youth Productions, celebrating musical theatre with amazing young talent. Each season is a collaboration of youth theatre enthusiasts
working together to produce a wonderful musical with a full show or junior version at the majestic Drum Theatre Dandenong. As a youth company we strive to provide opportunity to young creatives, creating spectacular shows with stellar casts of 8-21 years. Our fabulous production team are always looking to bring new fresh concepts to the stage and yet still deliver what audiences expect from iconic shows.
MYP provides the ultimate live theatre production experience in an inspiring, positive, fun, challenging and supportive environment. Providing young performers acting, singing and dancing opportunities in a professional setting. Fostering and mentoring stage craft/production skills for young people looking for a learning environment with access to state of the art equipment and resources. Masquerade Youth Productions is extremely proud of the professional engagements of past and current performers who have pursued careers in theatre, film and television including commercials, Australian film and print/catalogue work. But equally proud of those that have used their performance skills for personal development in a range of diverse careers and everyday life skills. We are appreciative to our audiences for their continued support - as we create magic one show at a time. As part of our commitment to you, we’ll do our best to ensure the postings on our page are in line with MYP family-friendly philosophies. 🎭 Masquerade Talent Studios located in Berwick (South East Suburbs) in a purpose-built studio, has been established for almost 25 years.
⭐️ Our Mission
To provide a vibrant environment that enriches, engages and fulfils children and young people through performing arts.
🎭 We are seeking motivated and reliable Theatre Educators who have experience in performance and/or teaching with a love for musical theatre and who are dedicated and passionate about sharing their knowledge with our studio community.
You will also need:
🎭 Acting, Vocal & Movement skills (previous experience is preferred - training and mentoring provided)
🎭 An enthusiastic and vibrant personality with lots of energy!
🎭 Exceptional communication skills
🎭 A professional attitude with respect to work practices under our code of conduct and Child Safety Standards as directed by the Victorian Commission for Children and Young People.
🎭 A current Working with Children Check
🎭 Victorian Police Check
🎭 Have or be prepared to complete a First Aid course.
⭐️ Hours available - Wed 4pm-9pm, Thurs 4pm-7.30pm, Sat 8.30am-12pm. (available to one or multiple candidates)
⭐️ Remuneration above award and relevant to experience Commencing immediately

📣 CALLING ALL MYP families past and present!
🎭 Once again, MYP is excited to offer places to Australia’s only Theatre Festival dedicated to junior performers.
🎭 Each year, thousands of like-minded young performers gather in Newcastle to learn, perform, watch, meet and have fun!
🎭 Performers rave about the fun they have and how much they have learned from industry experts from New York, London and, of course, Australia! Participating in the workshops and adjudications gives students valuable feedback and insights.
🎭 If you are new to Junior Theatre Festival Australia think of it as a musical theatre camp for your kids. It’s a great way for them to form friendships, enhance teamwork and spend time doing activities they are passionate about!
🎭 MYP is a not-for-profit organisation. We proudly enter a team each year because we know performers love it!. We provide volunteer chaperones, best value accommodation and meals. It is our major fundraising event to support MYP’s community productions.
