Meet Lewis, the giant copper tank boss with the confidence of a bodybuilder and the attention span of a floating noodle.

Lewis is a stunning Light Copper Axolotl, visually confirmed male and already an impressive 28cm long at just 12 months old. With his soft copper colouring, large build and calm personality, he makes a striking display axolotl for a spacious, fully cycled freshwater aquarium.

What makes Lewis special?

He is large, interactive and full of character. Lewis spends his days cruising around like he owns the entire underwater kingdom, inspecting the plants, supervising tank maintenance and appearing instantly whenever food enters the postcode.

Lewis currently has a small piece missing from his tail, visible in the listing photos. It is already healing and is expected to regenerate. Apparently even underwater dragons occasionally collect a battle scratch.
