Shakti Rising is a two-stage, all-femme electronic music experience celebrating the unstoppable force of feminine energy in sound, in spirit, and in community.

One stage dedicated to powerful techno and house.
One stage dedicated to transcendent psytrance and bass.

An entire lineup of femme artists, including emerging voices shaping the future of the scene.

But this is more than a party.

All proceeds from Shakti Rising will go toward supporting the education of underprivileged girls; because when girls are educated, communities transform.

Ever wanted to DJ but didn’t know where to start? I’m offering beginner-friendly DJ lessons designed to build real skills and confidence behind the decks.

What you’ll learn:
• DJ fundamentals & equipment basics
• Beatmatching by ear & phrasing
• Mixing techniques & transitions
• Mixing in key
• Track selection & reading the vibe
• Set structure & flow

Learn to mix techno, trance, psytrance, house

Lesson options:
• One-on-one sessions
• Flexible times
• Tailored to your goals & taste

Lessons are held in-person, in St Kilda (Melbourne)

About your tutor:
AJNA is an active DJ in Australia's psytrance scene, and represents a major international psytrance label.

I've taught teens to seniors and am passionate about sharing my passion for DJing.
