Working on the show brings back memories of where this show's premise began. Back in 2016, the show's writer/director tested out the premise in a short film for his YouTube channel, the famous Time Train Films. Basing it off a writing assignment from the year before, which he got a B- for.
Making the short was a fun and chaotic time, though the director may hesitate to watch the finished film without squirming in his seat. The cast for the short brought their A game, and helped influence future attempts at writing the script. Despite not loving his old work, Sam still looks at the film fondly, and never stopped loving the premise.
The show opens on Monday, and we're very excited to show you what we've been working on! Though it is not the same as the original short film, it still holds ideas that the short believed in. The short is still online for those who want to watch, and you may even see some familiar faces in it!
