About Monique:
Over the last 10 years I have designed lighting for musicals, managed venues, managed teams, operated sound, lighting and projection simultaneously for festivals, mixed musical artists of all genres and worked miracles with gear older than I am in spaces not at all intended for live performance.
Most recently I have been touring Australia working in sound on major musicals such as Come From Away, Hamilton, Mary Poppins, Phantom of the Opera and currently I am the radio mic technician on Tina the Tina Turner Musical.
As a way to share my love for the industry I have dedicated my life to as well as to share insider knowledge with the next generation of crew I started creating youtube videos in the hope that they will encourage and empower people to step into the career of their dreams, especially those of us who don't fit into the mould we have been shown of people who have traditionally held these positions.
