New addition to my mic collection this week :) Been saving a bit from last few projects for this beautiful Austrian Audio OC818.

Had a bit of time to experiment with it today, sounds stunning on vocals, acoustic guitars, heavy guitars (best capture ive had of the Mesa so far) and spoken word.

The crazy polar designer stuff is pretty insane too, so excited to explore it more.

Got a few projects to use this on coming up and I can't wait!!

Few new projects come in recently featuring programmed drums, so it was a good excuse to splash out on the Death & Darkness SDX expansion for my Superior Drummer.

Absolutely my favourite drum library by far, the shells & rooms are incredible - but the cymbal collection is possibly my favourite element of all.

Really stunning, will have a few projects featuring these sounds to share soon!
