Image of Sarah Tomasetti's quietly astonishing work- this fortnight's feature artist.
#throwback to this work from my first solo in 2017, now in private collection. I love doing these scratch-back spray paint works, a style I created by accident, but my wrists don't so much 😅
Y'all like hands and cats (and my silly lil face). Thanks for following me over the past crazy year. Here's to a better 2022 and lots more art-making!
I finally got these framed up for my sister, and supporter, @earthisashe, who bought them at my Lumina exhibition earlier this year. Three of the daily drawings I did whilst in residency in Finland in 2019 @artelescreativecenter.
PLEEEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE *moves to Ireland*
Pilot scheme could see 2,000 creative workers get €325 a week from March 2022

Mental health has been something I’ve struggled with much of my life. And now more than ever, as we in Melbourne are still in lockdown, it is something that has become a priority for most. Hence I am beyond honoured to be included as a finalist in the ‘Into the Light’ exhibition and prize at W...
Finished this weird lil drawing last night. I'm planning to do a series of these "strange animal stuff captured on night vision cameras". This one is silver, 23k gold and bronze on wood panel with gold leaf. Silverpoint doesnt allow much other than crisp, clean line work and hatching, so this blurriness of forms was a real challenge and I think I'm going to do a second version of it in charcoal. This one's not currently available as I submitted it to the @linden_new_art prize.
Congratulations @martiestrydomcurtis for winning the 'Into the Light' competition with this exceptional portrait 'Dave'. View it, my work, and the other finalists at @whitewallartprojects or click link in my bio.
#workinprogress ⏳ it's not as obvious in the photo but #silverpoint is so weird sometimes. One of these fingers is so blue and the rest have already oxidised overnight to brown-black! Only time will tell what happens...
Was going through old art school work and found this monoprint of @phialarsen drawn from life as she worked on her own. It sorta looks like both of us combined but it captures her gentle, beautiful soul nonetheless in my opinion.
Signie mcsign please. Artist Nina Sandze created this petition asking all TV channels, and particularly SBS and ABC news to add a permanent and daily art and culture news update at the end of all news broadcasts (similar to sports news updates). This would create a powerful boost to arts industries and will deliver a critical change in the role culture plays in our daily lives.
Additionally, it will deliver much needed life affirming news at the end of often challenging news, just like sports news does.

ARTS are NEWSworthy!
Little things that give me some joy in #lockdown6 : my new @shuhlee vase from @boomgallery. The gemstone clay candle holder, I made myself 😊
Many of you may not know, but I majored in ceramics at @nas_au way back when. I don't practice it any more except for the odd air-dry candle holder, but I am a HUGE collector. Planter by @benna_co
The last of these extremely limited prints (only 3 made!) has become available after the potential buyer went with an original. First two images are of the actual print, hand finished with gold leaf. I kinda like it more than the original (swipe to last image) although that's much more gold and shiny irl. DM to claim 🌟💛
'Considerate Touch' by @alexandrastanden at @this_is_no_fantasy until 18 July. See it!
This will soon be on its way to Brisbane and its forever home. I love it even more with the owner's change of words. 23k gold and acrylic marker on wood panel.
Art and money: the great taboo. Art, we’ve been taught to believe, has nothing to do with money, must have nothing to do with money, is defiled by contact with money, is degraded by the very …
I love seeing my works in their forever homes. This was the last work created for my 2019 solo exhibition and one of my favourites. It lives in Castlemaine now ❤️🍎
My mum found me this amazing bell jar in hard rubbish so I filled it with nice things : @altar.of.aphrodite candle, @alanawilsonstudio vase, gold tassel from my late grandfather's stash of nice things, egg, sculpture etc etc. Paintings in background by @rowdyunderscore and Joe Penn.
Seeing my art in people's homes is my favourite thing! Especially when there's an accompanying video of my work being the first to be hung and in prime position above the fireplace. Thanks @lisajcheney @james_maskey who have two by me : the silverpoint is a collab between Lisa and I in which I created a work inspired by her music; the second a graphite drawing of their precious baby on her first day of life.
OK so I'm in a bit of a financial crisis and my annual website payment just bounced. So I thought I'd do a flash sale. The speech bubble can be changed to say whatever you wish, or removed. Half price at $350. DM to claim. Silver and 23k gold on wood panel with acrylic marker, around 30x22cm.
This is the last week to see my exhibition Lumina at @tinningstreet. The gallery is open 11-5 tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday. I'll be sitting the gallery from 2pm on Sunday.
Photo stolen from @__jolane__
As these totally unposed photos of legend @henryfowkes demonstrate, you should see my exhibition Lumina, now at the freshly re-opened @tinningstreet til Sunday 20th June. I'll be gallery sitting this Sunday 11-2.
Dug out some old life drawings cause I bought a scanner. I think 2 of these are from at least 6 years ago! Two 15 min drawings and a 5 min.
So it looks like lockdown has been extended by another week. I still don't know exactly what this means for my exhibition at @tinningstreet yet, but it's definitely not good. Financially and emotionally, this is really hard for me. At least I love my home!
More exceptional photos of my opening at @tinningstreet by @___kier__ the gallery is temporarily closed due to coronavirus restrictions. Please see the link on my bio to view the exhibition online.
I put my exhibition at Tinning Street on my website cause corona a lil bitch and you can't see it in person.
Just when I thought coronavirus was a thing of the past for us here in Melbourne, it proved me wrong. We’re back in lockdown, which means my exhibition at Tinning Street Presents is no longer open to the public.
Read my latest email (and subscribe) to find out how you can still view and purchase works online.
Self/returning. Silver and 23k gold on wood panel. One of the works from my current exhibition at @tinningstreet. Melbourne is back in lockdown. The gallery will be closed til further notice. This work is still available. DM me for purchase enquiries for this or any others. Works range from $100-700. #lockdownart #supportartists
@___kier__ took the most beautiful photos of my opening at @tinningstreet. I'll share more later because they're too good to post all at once! 😊📸
