Founded in Melbourne, Australia, 2008 by Writer-Director Tony Reck, A Room to One Side specialises in radical interpretations of theatrical time & space. The company's first production, The Antechamber, written and directed by Tony Reck, was performed at Melbourne's La Mama Theatre for the 2008 Melbourne Fringe festival. ompany's founder, was a multi-media performance that emphasised the relationship between human and technological presence in the contemporary Australian theatre. Since this period, the company has reinterpreted works by American playwright David Mamet (American Buffalo) & Harold Pinter (The Birthday Party).
