To finally open the show to a sold out audience after starting from nothing only a few months prior. Thank you for the support from the community, other performers, the venue, the cast & crew, and the audience.
It’s so important to get out into the world and experience live performance. We spend so much of our day behind a screen, sometimes we forget the art of live and in person experiences. Algorithms, filters, media, they all determine what we see online. In a world that is constantly trying to tell fat people to shrink, we are so proud to create a space for fat liberation were audiences can see bodies (who may look like theirs) unfiltered, in movement, and celebrated.
