Melbourne International Comedy Festival still has 10 days left and there's a whole bunch of talented friends you should go see!

Murder Village: An Improvised Whodunnit - It’s Agatha Christie, improvised! the award-winning festival favourite Murder Village is back with more cunningly improvised whodunnits. - With our own Sophie, Rik, Pan, Rhys, and some Impro Melbourne Alumni in the cast!

Abbey Howells - La Soupco (NZ)
La Soupco* is the name of a screenplay Abby Howells wrote when she was 11 years old. It is a romance, set in the Navy in the wake of World War II. No historical research, verification or corroboration was undertaken.

Austin Harrison Magnus Steele (NZ) - Infamous private eye Magnus Steele (Austin Harrison) investigates the crime of the century through interrogations, jazz and beat poetry. But here’s the catch – all the victims, suspects and witnesses are played by you! Come prepared for hilarity, bad accents and to be a part of the show!

The Ghostlight League Shakespeare Ghostbusters - Shakespeare Ghostbusters is a retelling of the world’s most famous paranormal investigators, as if their dialogue was written by The Bard himself.

Jon Walpole -Butterfly
Jon Walpole dared to ask if he could surgically alter himself to become an actual man-sized butterfly. After six long months of elective surgeries that put a strain on an already underfunded public health system, he got his answer – no, your organs will fail.

Jason Geary - Don't Go Jason Waterfalls
A night of character and sketch comedy in his first-ever solo show, 25 years in the making. Yes, you read that right, his first-ever solo Melbourne International Comedy Festival show.

Jeromaia Detto When I Grow Up
When I Grow Up is a new concept show that focuses on the exploration of childhood dreams.
Did you want to be a doctor? A florist?
Maybe a professional jumper, who jumps up and down really skillfully. Maybe you wanted to be a horse!

Adam McKenzie - Hacked!
Hacked is a dark, comedic look at identity theft, online security and why it’s a really, really bad idea to even open your computer, let alone interact with it.
I mean… they are probably hacking you right now. That’s silly. They aren’t hacking you right now and stealing all your data. You’ll be fine. Probably.

The Newlyweds Better Off Wed - Your favourite married improvisers are back for more made-up madness. Award-winning actor, Eleanor, and superstar stand-up, Marcel, have been improvising plays around the world since 2018.

Impromptunes - A ten-year festival staple that keeps delivering on its unique brand of musical mayhem. Improvised comedy meets musical theatre in an hilarious show that has to be seen to be believed.

Then stick around in the city and see our own Kit Kat Prov - The Improvised Cabaret at Melbourne International Comedy Festival at 10:30pm!
