Who gets to decide the future of cacao?

This conversation around gene-edited cacao raises a much bigger question about our relationship with nature.

For thousands of years, cacao has evolved alongside the forests, insects, animals and Indigenous communities that have protected it. It is a living ecosystem, not just a commodity.

At Sacred, this is why we have chosen a different path.

Our cacao is not grown on large-scale monoculture plantations. It is wild-crafted by Ashaninka families deep in the Peruvian Amazon, growing naturally beneath the rainforest canopy in a diverse ecosystem.

No rows. No clearing of rainforest. No intensive farming.

Just cacao growing as nature intended.

While technology may have a role in helping agriculture overcome challenges like disease and climate change, we believe the answers should also include protecting biodiversity, preserving ancient wisdom, and supporting the communities who have lived in harmony with these ecosystems for generations.

Because the future of cacao should not only be about producing more. It should be about protecting what makes cacao truly special.

Join us this Saturday for a day of cacao, dance and connection as we welcome MOSE and friends to Flow & Feast UK! 🇬🇧

Fresh off his US tour, MOSE brings his signature sound, blending rhythm, movement and energy into an experience that goes far beyond music.

Joined by Australia’s own Murray Kyle and Koda Sounds, we come together for our very first Flow & Feast, set poolside in the gardens of The Red House, Kent.

🌿 THE CACAO CEREMONY
We begin at 11am with a guided cacao ceremony by Daniel Koch from Sacred Taste Ceremonial Cacao. A moment to slow down, open our hearts and set intentions for the day ahead. Working with wild-crafted ceremonial cacao from the Amazon, we create a shared space of deep gratitude and connection.

✨ THE FLOW
From here, we move into guided dance with Mose starting gently and building into an expansive, heart-opening journey through movement and rhythm. Accompanied by sacred song holder Murray Kyle, lifting our energy and elevating the space.

🍽 THE FEAST
After the dance, we gather to share a nourishing feast. Simple, vibrant food designed to bring us back into connection, with ourselves and each other.

🎶 CLOSING SOUND BATH
We close with a restorative sound journey. A space to soften, integrate and land.

This is more than an event… It’s a journey.

A celebration of something ancient and deeply human.

Tonight, don’t scroll past the sky ✨

Step outside.

Leave your phone in your pocket for a moment and look towards the horizon.

As daylight fades, Venus and Jupiter will appear side by side, two of the brightest lights in our night sky meeting in a rare celestial dance.

For thousands of years, humans have looked up at moments like this. Not because the planets changed their lives, but because they reminded them of something they had forgotten.

That they are part of something bigger.

That nature moves in cycles.

That growth is not constant expansion.

Sometimes growth looks like slowing down.

Sometimes progress looks like letting go.

Sometimes the most important step forward is creating space.

Tonight’s Last Quarter Moon in Pisces invites exactly that.

To release what feels heavy.
To soften your grip on what you cannot control.
To trust what your heart already knows.

The world will keep moving.
The emails will still be there tomorrow.
The to-do list can wait.

But this moment, this sky, this alignment, will never happen again in exactly the same way.

So take a breath.

Look up.

Tonight we experience a rare Blue Full Moon in Sagittarius 🌕

This is both a Blue Moon and a Micromoon, a rare lunar event where two Full Moons rise within the same calendar month, while the Moon itself sits furthest from Earth, appearing smaller in the night sky.

This Moon carries a powerful invitation.
To slow down, zoom out, and gain greater perspective.

Just as moonlight reveals the landscape in darkness, this Moon invites us to notice what may have been hiding in the shadows, old patterns, beliefs, emotions and truths waiting to be acknowledged.

Sagittarius, the explorer and truth seeker, encourages us to reflect on both the micro and the macro, our inner world and the greater landscape of our lives.

So tonight, if you can, step outside.
Feel the Earth beneath your feet, and make yourself a cacao.
