⭐️ Announcing the return of Gold Sounds Music Conference
From 13-16 October, Gold Sounds Music Conference is set to return for its second year. Designed to bring together the Victorian Regional and Melbourne music communities, the conference features panels, workshops, networking events, and a dedicated youth program.
Held on Djarra Country in the centre of Castlemaine, and programmed by Fionna Allan, the conference sessions will cover topics including:

➡️ Working in Creative Teams
➡️ Breaking Down the Barriers
➡️ Music & Activism

Congratulations to the Victorian finalists of APRA Professional Development Awards & Smugglers of Light Foundation Music and Media Award
🪘 Congratulations to the Victorian finalists of the APRA Professional Development Awards. These awards exist to support emerging songwriters and composers, with nine recipients receiving a $10,000 cash prize and an additional prize from Australis Music.
The Smugglers of Light Foundation Music and Media Award will provide an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander music or media practitioner with a grant of $12,000, as well as a prize from Australis Music.
