The event will be held in the form of a tea party to provide a fun and relaxed platform to promote communication among members.

🌱 Programme review date:
Monday 29 August - Zoom online audit: 3-5pm
Tuesday 30 August offline school audition: Caulfield Campus (exact audition time to be confirmed)
Programme review time is either online or offline

Our energetic lbs has come to an end in the midst of the audience’s cheers connected to the stage, meanwhile, the Live Band Show event held by MMC won The Best Cultural Event in 2019 (Caulfield).

For the last major event of 2019, thanks to everyone who contributed to MMC and thanks to everyone who came to the event and acknowledged our program. No matter what the future holds, we will continue to walk the road of music and continue to rock the show!

Vlog, is the way in which young people express their thoughts, a contemporary way of art.

Live music, is the energy and heat of a live music show.

The most anticipated MMC live band show vlog competition is about to begin!!!!!

Invitation to the whole of Melbourne:
If you are interested in the live band show, and you also like to record the snippets of life with your camera then come and join us!

To participate in the competition, you must fulfil these requirements:
1. The vlog competition is surrounding the theme of MMC live band show, you may upload no more than two videos.
2. The vlog film crew is not restricted to just an individual; there is no restriction to the number of publishing video platforms. However, every video platform can only be published through one personal account. The data of each platform needs to be given to the MMC staff by contestants at the end of the competition. The final results will be using the accumulated data from each video platform.
3. Contestants may use these video platforms to upload their videos: weibo, douyin, public account, YouTube.
4. Every video published needs to tag , and include hashtags , #蒙纳士音乐社, , , for it to be valid.

The deadline for uploading the two videos are:
The first video – 23:59 5/10/2019
The second video – 23:59 13/10/2019
For those who wish to upload only one video the deadline is 23:59 13/10/2019

Monash Music Club (MMC) is a flourishing club originated from Monash, Caulfield campus. There are multiple events held by us throughout the year.
Organising the ‘Live Band Show’ (LBS) every semester is one of the traditions of MMC and it is also the biggest event MMC prepares for.

This is our third time holding gigs. The theme is “Now”. We are looking forward to enjoying LIVE music and being absorbed in the moment. As youths, we hope to seize the moment and live life vigorously.
LBS 3.0 invites performers both within and outside of our club. The show includes various forms of performances. We‘ll have several groups on stage. Music styles which have been covered previously include rap, rock, pop, ACG, country folk, and heavy metal.

The exuberance and vibrancy delivered by our enthusiastic performers are outstanding. Wish to see you in our LBS this October the 6th (Sunday Night), which is the last day of mid-semester break! Why not come and have some fun?

In the midst of the cold weather, MMC is here to heat it up with the fantastic singing competition semi-finals! Welcome to anyone who wishes to come and be part of the audience, you are up for a spectacular show! Here comes the details.

We will announce the 10 finalists according to the judges’ scores. There will be no audience voting, the results are determined on the spot.

Semi-finals location:
Melbourne Chun K Karaoke Bar 1A Bank St, Box Hill VIC 3128 (please bring ID)

Backing Track Guidelines:
1. Every contestant is to prepare a song within 5 minutes. There are no restrictions on genre, style or language.
2. Every contestant is to prepare their own backing tracks, the staff of the singing competition cannot help edit backing tracks.
3. If you are a contestant who will do self accompaniment, please prepare your instrument (bring a cable), if there is an effects unit/effects pedal, please bring along your own adaptor (any other special equipment must be brought in yourself).
