While Songmakers is taking a sabbatical, I have been concentrating on my teaching, my other great passion!
There is nothing more fulfilling, after a couple of decades, than reconnecting, at a professional level, with some of your former students.
This week has been full of such experiences: first, answering some questions with Stella Joseph-Jarecki for her Fever Pitch Magazine article, followed by a wonderful rehearsal with tenor Michael Petruccelli for our upcoming concert at Langley Estate Bendigo.

Alastair was a member of our Young Songmakers Development Program in 2019.

Thank you to the wonderful audience that attended our concert last night at The Ian Potter Southbank Centre. It was a very special occasion as Merlyn's last Songmakers Australia concert.

A well deserved standing ovation at the end made it particularly moving! Stay tuned for our next chapter. In the meantime, have a wonderful festive season.
