Canvases is an exploration of the female experience, presented as a hybrid of live performance, video and contemporary dance. If a girl is a blank canvas, society will choose the colours in which to paint her. The right combination is elusive, and the wrong combination will ruin her. What value is a ruined canvas?

That's a wrap on Canvases!

It's been a long journey, starting in the beginning of 2013, filled with concept work, dancing, painting, film-editing and sound design and finally bringing it all together.

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who came to see us, we loved sharing it with you.

Closing night tonight!

Our long journey to the Melbourne Fringe Festival is coming to an end! There has been dancing, bundles of paint and probably more vintage stripper footage than necessary, but it's been wonderful.

Just when we finally scrubbed the last bits of paint off everything (and everyone) from opening night last night, it's almost time to go all again!
