Mid Week Crisis is back again with a free show for your Wednesday evening.
Big Farmer and Back Pocket gracing the band room.
Doors at 7:30.

Plus we’ve got our $12 porterhouse steak night, we can do meat, vegetarian or vegan. It comes with chips, gravy and salad.
Kitchen open from 5pm

And $8 pints of Rock n Roll Draught or Moondog Fizzer in all manner of delicious flavours.

Our good friends and one of the best bands in the country are heading down to play a very special show at the Last Chance!
It’s HITS!
And we’re absolutely over the moon.
It’s almost been three years since HITS have graced Victoria with their presence and that’s three years too long.
It’s going to be oh so sweet.

We had a little feathered visitor during the week that got stuck in a void.
Luckily, with a little bit of teamwork we managed to get the flying disease factory down and they’ve gone home with Izy to rest and recover with actual vet care.
It kind of feels like that Seinfeld episode when the pigeons stop moving and the squirrel gets the operation.
Anyway, it’s safe, we’re heroes, Izy’s a pirate now and the pigeon or whatever it is will be just fine.
To celebrate we’ve got a whole day of bands.
This afternoon for free in the front bar we’ve got Brodown, Once Were Lost, One Day Kings & Forklift Assassin’s.
100% free.
Bands on an Autumn afternoon on Victoria Street?
Smackingly good excuse for a couple of pints.
Then tonight we’ve got Birthdaypalooza V which has an absolute stacked lineup.

Tonight!
Our mates in Sidesplitter will be launching their first EP at the Last Chance with good friends Von Stache, Udder Ubductees & Shadow League.
It’s a pretty stacked lineup.
Sidesplitter played their first show at the Last Chance (I think maybe in one of those weird non lockdown things we had a while ago maybe before COVID… I don’t remember) and we’re pretty stoked that they’ve chosen us to celebrate their first offering out into the world.
It’s going to be a ferocious night so make sure you come down and check out a bit of the old punk rock happening on stage.
We’re also open until 7am.
With the DJS and stuff.
Plus I think we’ve got a new Late Night Kitchen Menu happening… yep we do because I’ve got to make the menu.
It looks pretty tasty.
Music, food, booze.
Just like heaven.

Big news!
HOON are tearing down the highway to the Last Chance to join us, the Stiff Richards, Persecution Blues & Queenie for Birthdaypalooza V this Saturday night!
It could be the most out of control lineup we’ve ever had for a Birthdaypalooza.
Not only that but our little Jacob is joining Shane and Mathias to celebrate his 21st.

That’s going to be a heck of a night.

Ooof what a doozy of a week, and it’s only Wednesday.
Perfect time to escape whatever the f**k is happening out there and come on in here. We’ve got all the good sh*t going on.

1. Joey in the kitchen is serving up some cheap as chips burgers, and they even come with chips too, so that’s like a free burger or something.
$12 Cheeseburgers or Fried Chicken burgers which we can do meat, vegetarian or vegan. Plus all our deep fried bar snacks.
Then the drink specials, $8 Pints of Moondog Fizzer or Rock n Roll Draught, in this economy!! Ken Bruce has gone mad.

Then we have the second week of our FREE gig for Mid Week Crisis, which is a regular Wednesday happening now btw. Tonight on the stage we’ve got those cheeky buggers Persecution Blues and Sesh Lamb.

We've once again been struck by a cancellation this Saturday night. Despite overcoming two years of constant uncertainty, an empty bandroom on our busiest night still affects us greatly.

SO - we're on the hunt for some bands put on a rock show this Saturday night and help us get some patrons through. If you love The Last Chance, play in a band, have thirsty friends and wanna help us out with the power of rock, please enquire within!

Massive night tonight.
In the band room we’ve got Chasing Ghosts, Amends, Baby Shower & Jim Dusty coming in to give your weekend the perfect start.
Tickets are $20 on the door from 8pm.
But if you come in before 8pm you will be able to sample the delights of our kitchen as Joey is thrown in the deep water for his very first full service in the kitchen.
If you’ve had any of Joeys Late Night treats over the last couple of months you know that he cooks up some delicious food.
Roger will be back next week.
Then we’ve got DJ Stevie Williams & DJ Speeding Beauty bring the night home until 7am.
It’s pretty much perfection at the Last Chance tonight.

Tonight Selective Noise are putting on a fundraiser for the Lismore Flood Appeal.
We all know how f**ked up things have been up north.
We also know know how f**ked I’ll the governments response has been.
So, if you’ve got the time come down and enjoy some bands and do a good thing for a community at the same time.
$15 on the door with all proceeds going to the Lismore Flood Appeal.
And as an added bonus for every payer the Last Chance is going to throw in another $5.
So, the more of you that come the more money going directly to the town that gave us the mighty Grinspoon.

Introducing Mid Week Crisis.
It’s a night for the locals.
Free bands in the band room (that’s right FREE).
Cheap booze.
Cheap food.
Kicking off the first one will be BIFF and Bellhop.
We’ve got $8 pints of Fizzer from Moon Dog or $8 pints of Rock & Roll Draught if your after a bit more beer in your life.
Plus we’ve got $12 Steaks.
That’s 300 grams of Porterhouse, chips, salad and gravy.
Plus we’ve got $12 Vegan or Vego Cheesesteaks with all the trimmings.

Tonight we’re going to do some Pepperoni Pizza Parmas for the Family Dinner because it seems like something a little bit different.
It also means that we get to put little to no effort into the image we use to promote it and instead direct all our energies into making some delicious Parmas.
$10.
And of course we’re doing them Vegan, Vegetarian or Meat because that’s what we do.
You’ll get one of our massive house made schnitzels, napoli, mozzarella cheese and a heap of delicious pepperoni.

So, we were wondering what we could do tonight with no bands.
And then the postman knocked on the door with this!
It’s a microphone steriliser to replace all the Glen 20 we’ve been destroying our mics with.
How f**king handy is that.
And then it dawned on us.
We could get Drunken Karaoke happening again and really celebrate (I mean commiserate) the death of Leannes vacuum cleaner.
We haven’t been doing the karaoke because it was a bloody pain to sterilise the mics between singers but now we’re all set with this fancy bit of equipment we’re going to kick on with “the Last Chance and Drunken Karaoke Presents: the Dyson Memorial/Meeshy Celebration Party Edition”
You can guarantee Shanes going to sing Kitty by the Presidents of the United Stares of America in honour of Meows’s Victory.
Leanne is thrilled with absolutely everything.
We’re going to kick things off super early as well because at 12am DJ Lou Lou is making his return to the Last Chance DJ Booth.
So come on in and get your hands on a freshly sterilised microphone and sing to your little heart out.
