It's the last weekend of @rigney.art's debut exhibition. Come down to the gallery tomorrow to view the striking collection of work. We're open from 11am till 4pm.

Rigney’s debut exhibition is a dramatic portrayal of humanity, through a series of expressive portraits that suggest different ways of seeing.

His work seeks to reconnect us with our inner child, and explores ways in which we can express the parts of ourselves that have been repressed due to cultural, social, and personal judgements.

Conceived in a generation which is challenging cultural and social oppressions, Rigney’s work encourages us to untether our own personal beliefs and perceptions of ourselves and our environment, and explore who we are, how we think, and how we see.

The series is a reflection of the artist over a tumultuous yet invigorating period of time for our society, sharing his perspective in this impassioned collection of diary entries in the form of large, vivid paintings.

CAPTURING MOMENTS my SOLO EXHIBITION at Clancy Gallery 136 High Street Preston via Clan Collective Opening 20th March 2pm
Our creative industries, artists, galleries and musicians are doing it tough during the pandemic. These are the faces behind the scenes making our local Cooper community so great to live in - we all love the galleries and opportunities to see movies, theatre, music and dance. This afternoon I met with representatives from local creative industries with Lisa Chesters MP, from Labor’s Pandemic recovery taskforce. The experiences, idea and expertise of these local folks are all going to contribute to Labor's vision as we work to make sure we have a Labor Government who will offer real, tangible and targeted support to get the arts back on its feet. Our next #SustainabilitySuperhero shout out goes to the legendary Tristia and John from @lakeyfarm. Selling pasture-raised beef, lamb, mutton and goat, the motto of this regenerative farm is “We put back more than we take”, which is a motto we can get around. Lakey Farm's sustainable practices include using low stocking rates, rotational mixed grazing, cover cropping, native tree revegetation and dung beetles. Plus, in the spirit of homesteading, to use up every part of the animal, they make tallow soap from the excess animal fat. We love having Lakey Farm as a part of our market line up. You can find them at Collingwood FM this Saturday and Coburg FM next weekend. #collingwoodFM #collingwoodchildrensfarm #lakeyfarm #regenerativefarming #pastureraised #regernerative #meat #victorianmeat #ethicalmeat 📸 Clan Collective
Our neighbours across the road Clan Collective have just begun hosting an exhibition from Thornbury Artist A Date with Andy. Make sure to stop by and check out the works, created during lockdown - all exploring the theme ‘broke’ - it’ll be on show until Tuesday 4th May.
Now that we're spending a lot of time within our own four walls, it's the perfect time to invest in some energetic, uplifting modern art to make one's home a more inspiring place! Nadia Düsselberg, a contemporary mixed media artist practising out of her studio in Surrey Hills, is currently holding an online sale over at Clan Collective's virtual gallery! The sale offers a variety of Nadia's original artworks at reduced prices, all ready to hang on your walls, and Clan Collective is providing free contactless delivery to locations within Victoria. Nadia's vibrant and striking works are on sale until the 17th of August. Check it out now at https://clancollective.com/designers-artists/nadia-dusselberg/
Look at these beautiful wine labels! Starring the Trichogramma Wasp, Fiddler Beetle and Jewel Spider, Lakey Farm’s first release of wines features hand-drawn illustrations of insects found in their Heathcote vineyard. Lakey Farm (Ray-Monde Deux) practises regenerative farming; increasing biodiversity, conditioning crops to become more pest resilient without the use of pesticides, enriching soil and enhancing ecosystem services. ⁣⁣Tristia and John are a wealth of knowledge so make sure to pick their brains on farming practices when you pick up your meat and wine this Sat! ⁣⁣ Illustrations by Clan Collective.
