Do you miss the Festival?
We do!

As we reflect on our Bastille Day celebrations, we want to thank Emma from .mate who MC'd our opening ceremony, alongside officials and our Consule Paule Ignatio, followed by a speech by our president Adrien.
A great way to open the first day of the festival surrounded by our biggest supporters.
Thank you for bringing so much energy, smile, and French charm to our stage. Merci beaucoup!

We hope you had the pleasure of meeting some of these super ladies from at Bastille Day!

The Alliance has been a very close partner (and friend) of the Festival for a very long time, each year they play an important role as a sponsor and also as stallholder, giving you all the opportunity to discover Melbourne's oldest French cultural and language organisation ! (Yes they have been founded in 1890!)

The Alliance Française de Melbourne encourages and promotes active, open connections between people in Victoria and French language and culture. It provides the means by which people can learn the French language and become engaged in the many different aspects of French cultures. It provides the opportunity for curious minds to come together in an apolitical, non-religious and welcoming environment.

Thank you all for being a partner of the Festival once again this year!

Did enjoy the drinks at Bastille's Day bar?
From the amazing to the French beer La Parisienne Blonde Pale Ale or the delightful Chateau Rouquets Cab Sauv, we thank our long time friend and supporter, Jean-Paul from Unwined for his support and also sharing his incredible knowledge with you all!

Jean-Paul's wine savoir faire is beyond compare and he will know exactly how to guide you to select the best wine for your next house party or simply to enjoy at home after a hard day of work!

Merci Jean-Paul!

Did you catch these superstars at Bastille Day?!

A resident of New Caledonia for over 18 years, Ka-Meï collaborated with local musician Marco Puluiuvea to form several bands, including Marco’s Band, One More Time, and Comme un Accord. Their work blends pop, rock, blues, and jazz with traditional Polynesian songs.

As a songwriter, composer, and member of SACENC since 2018, Ka-Meï performs in French, English, Spanish, Italian, Tahitian, and Wallisian. Her diverse style bridges the richness of classical music with the energy of rock and the warmth of Pacific sounds.

Her international performance history includes appearances in New Zealand (2019) and the Bastille Festival in Sydney (2025). Most recently, on March 14 and 15, 2026, she represented New Caledonia at the Pasifika Festival in Auckland, celebrating the musical diversity of Oceania.

Did you get a chance to sit down, relax and people watch with a coffee? This Bastille Day, we made sure you got the real French experience. Having a sit down coffee with a friend really is an excuse to watch people go by!

We are very thankful to our amazing sponsor for setting up a true French cafe corner, with authentic bistro chairs. Coffee cart by making sure everyone got their Aussie fix!!
