Dear supporters of KAGE,

The time has come for us to say goodbye.

As the final curtain closes on the company we created 21 years ago, we want to reiterate our heartfelt and sincere gratitude for your patronage. It has been a pleasure to have you in our audience and to have shared KAGE’s vision with you. We have never taken you for granted and wanted to send you this final note of appreciation.

As we bow for the final time, we wish you the greatest health, happiness, and creativity in your own lives.

Love,

Kate and Gerard.

In less than 2 weeks Kate and Gerard will perform live alongside renown The Sydney Art Quartet, in an adaptation of their 2013 duet Flesh and Bone at The Yellow House in Potts Point, Sydney. Including string works by Michael Nyman, Nick Wales and Elena Kats-Chernin this promises to be an intimately visceral experience not to be missed.

If you don't get our e-news you may not have have caught up with all our latest news! One thing we shared is that in October, we'll be performing a new adaptation of FLESH AND BONE with the The Australian Art Quartet in Sydney. FLESH AND BONE is a lullaby, a parable and a song about what it means not to be man or woman, but to be human. With music from Stravinsky, Prokofiev & Shostakovich.
Book your tickets now - 3 nights only!

E-news correction: For those who did get our e-news we incorrectly credited Australian Art Orchestra as a collaborator. The Australian Art Quartet is not associated with the Australian Art Orchestra and we apologise for this error.

Founded by James Beck (cello, artistic director) & Dan Russell (violin), the group works with distinguished guests to unite great quartet music with a wider world of arts and sciences including scent, botany, social history, architecture, painting, performance art, cuisine, fine wine, dance & multi-...

Great to see this Indigenous performance collaboration between Australia, Sweden and Norway! Throughout March, Australian dance company KAGE has been touring Sweden, Finland and Norway with its performance "Caught in the Middle." Co-produced with Norrlandsoperan (Sweden) and Dansearena nord (Norway), the performance combine dance traditions from both Sámi and Australian Aboriginal cultures creating "a new shared physical language, highlighting connections formed across borders and oceans, across different languages and values." Curious to learn more? Have a look at: www.kage.com.au/caught-in-the-middle https://vimeo.com/259261983
