Here's our weekend run down! 🤩
Tomorrow afternoon jangle folk artist fergus.crane will be performing in the main room alongside their friends Ghost Towns of the Midwest and Pig Face from 2.30pm 🌟 Later on, Tangled Orbits will be playing some funky jazz tunes to spice up your night from 7.30pm ❤ It doesn't end here! DJ Crispi will be getting the dancefloor pumping in the beer garden from 4pm, followed by Frankiefettucini & Obelix (Daisy Records) from 7pm and late night dancefloor with DJ TIM 🥳
On Sunday afternoon, catch Charlie Wilde from 2.30pm in the main room alongside Rance Lazarus Music and Mia Pisano. Followed by harpist and singer songwriter Nush Lewis in the front bar for a free show with Xylo Aria 🎼 Mark Knowledge will also be keeping the tunes flowing in the beer garden from 4pm! See you soon!

I have lost a gold ‘rope’ hoop earring tonight 05/11/18. I am desperate to find it, it’s my grandmothers earring. I can show you the other one that I still have. If anyone finds it please hand it in to the bar or contact me. I will give you $50 if you hand it in. I am so desperate to find this earring.
I have been banned from The Retreat Hotel in Brunswick for life.
NB: I have been a regular DJ and patron for over a decade. Why did I get banned?
1. I flipped the pool table because I'm a bad loser
2. I smashed a chair over another patron's head
3. I glassed one of the bar staff because my beer was flat
4. My fiance posted a bad review of them
Only one is true. Regardless, I encourage all of my Melbourne music community friends not to perform there ever again, nor spend another dime over the bar. Official boycott.

Great venue, great music and vibe. Unfortunately the bouncers are hare-brained lunatics. I asked politely if I could search for my jacket and I was aggressively declined, repeatedly. I mean, for a progressive venue in Brunswick to have hired a bunch of redneck grubs as bouncers is pretty disappointing. Come on, get it together...
