In an exciting program spread over two nights, attendees are allowed rare and intimate access to evening art events as doors open after dark at ACMI, Art Centre Melbourne, Fed Square, Melbourne Museum, NGV Australia, NGV International and State Library of

Victoria. Follow your curiosities, explore our most iconic venues in a whole new light and experience our city at its creative and vibrant best.

brought 100K people to our world class art venues over two nights. But there were also some quiet moments of exploring these amazing spaces alone, after dark. We were the first ones at National Gallery of Victoria The Ian Potter Centre on Friday right on 6pm and it was thrilling.

Gillian Wearing: Editing Life brought photography and art lovers to ACMI this .
After asking collaborators to imagine how she might look at 70, Wearing used artificial intelligence and age-processing tools to depict her possible future selves. Printed on wallpaper wrapping the gallery, these huge self-portraits highlight the unpredictability of time, revealing the limitations of what we believe to be pioneering technology and further emphasising the uncertainty of what lies ahead.
