Another alcohol ink artwork that was displayed at the White Ribbon Art Gallery exhibition 2022 - creating awareness on domestic violence and it's impact.
"A Safe Place to Dance" - This alcohol ink artwork goes to show the relief being free from violence means to victims. Feeling safe is the top priority for many victims of domestic violence.
One of my recent alcohol ink artworks created specifically for the White Ribbon Art Gallery exhibition 2022.
I was pleased as to how it turned out. The technique was purely experimental.
"Phoenix" - This alcohol ink artwork represents a woman rising strong and powerful leaving behind the ashes (the past) and embracing the new found freedom.
These Coasters remind me of the song Watermelon Sugar.😁
The colours looked so cool.I used a bit of Indian Red & Pachinko pigment powders mixed with resin, beads in the centre & white pigment.

Feeling honoured to have one of my artworks selected for the White Ribbon Art Gallery as the flagship artwork for this year's exhibition.
"The Red Warrior" abstract represents the delicateness of a butterfly, rough surfaces, black shadows and red as a warrior colour. Butterflies go through a struggle with its cocoon and comes out bright and beautiful.
This year's theme is 'Free from Violence' and hope this artwork represents those victims who've experienced domestic violence & have now become free.

I named it Gallant because it was a gallant effort to create these pieces. The funny thing about this artwork & its creation process, is that the effort was not so much in the physical making of it, but it was in the "thinking" as to what type of art to create, the technique & the colours to use.
I was pondering, debating & even created samples using different techniques to convince myself which way to go. This whole process took about 2 months preparing myself mentally for the big day! The result, speaks for itself. 😃👍😇
Bringing your imagination into life is one big happy moment & this is 3x the happiness 😊
"Ocean Triptych"

Travel inspired me to create this artwork especially the ones to Great Ocean Road & Tasmania. It was fun creating the waves around the rock formation on this Resin sea & painting the marine life around the islands.

It started of as a Dutch pour working my way from top to bottom. The bottom parts (arms & tentacles) were created with string swipe.

Making ocean trays is my favourite work of art. Being a big fan of the beach & ocean, I'm naturally drawn to creating oceanic elements as the main subject of my artworks.
I've created this Resin ocean tray using resin, & the adorable tiny sea shells I collected near the Port Welshpool jetty. 😊

"Stillness" was born out of inspiration & determination. I was contemplating what sort of medium I wanted to use to dress up this tiny canvas.
It's then the thought came to mind about the photograph I saw on that captured my heart & thought of stepping out of my comfort zone (resin & fluid acrylic) to do something different using oil paint.
I had to re-imagine the tools I have to use to create this and boy this tiny canvas artwork was challenging than I thought. 😄

Okay something different, but not the first time. I've done small scale Alcohol Ink artworks but this is definitely the biggest one so far.
It's a 100cm x 100cm art board with an aluminium surface. Just love how it compliments the Alcohol ink.
No animals were harmed in making these jewellery. 🙂
I found this beautiful insect lying dead & it was nicely preserved. It immediately reminded me of amber quartz. Hence, created this pendant along with few other earrings.

Made this coffee table using a repurposed coffee table and by adding resin to make it look like a marble top. 😃

It was such a pleasure working on these Coasters. Not my usual colour pallet, but since the last green Coasters, I fell in love with the colour combo.
It light, bright & vibrant. And yes, I repurpose toilet roll ends to dry the Coasters.

Most of my artworks are driven by inspiration from ocean blues, earthy tones, but with this artwork I was going around in circles whether to use natural stones or crushed glass.
She dreams in shades of blue!
Special post & what makes it more special is not because it was sold, but it's one of the biggest resin artworks I have done & it has a secret that's only visible in the dark. Thanks to Eye Candy Pigments 😉

I'm so happy how they turned out after a number of "experimentations" on them. I used acrylic fluid paint & Floetrol to create this bloom-like art & finished it off with a clear coat of Resin.
