This isn't my usual content BUT this was so fascinating I had to share.

Let me tell you a little tale about the Winilli, and the origin of the Longbeards.

The Winilli people resided in what became Lombard. Their story of resistance against the Vandals was deemed apocrypha by catholic historians, and that was that for the bearded warrior women of the small people of the Winilli... Or was it?

I don't see many musicians talking about this on socials, maybe it's Forbidden Knowledge, idk. Whatever.

If you're a creator and you want to help a musician out financially, using their music from the song picker is a free and easy way to do exactly that - and help put their music in front of more people!

See, DJs used to have a particular role in the music space: we brought new music to people. We were considered taste makers, if we were really good at it. It's why Bandcamp Friday exists - buy the latest drops, take them to parties Friday night, surprise everyone with a brand new hit they've never heard before.

It hails back to vinyl, white label records and DJs queueing up at places with a lathe cutter to get the latest songs cut to play that weekend.

But with algorithms and streaming, and of course, AI generated music only a prompt away, discovering novel music is so easy now. Too easy. And for those of us who just want to make really fun music, the time spent making content around it feels wasted. We'd rather be in the studio!

And so I believe it now falls on content creators, those who make fun videos, stuff people want to SEE, to use music they think people will want to HEAR - and maybe be taste makers yourselves. Pick something crazy. Try something new. Share that artist you discovered last week in the form of music on a reel, or a post.

Hell, tee up a collab with a musician you like and get a song made just for you, negotiate a royalty split from it - now you using that song benefits both of you!

Its symbiotic, really. We need you, the way musicians used to need radio DJs.

Musicians are at the mercy of the algorithm.

May you help us shine through the noise.

I started designing the Giant Inflatable Rave Dice for in July 2025.

Its been through a few iterations, mostly based on what I spotted from crowd behaviour - God you lot can get violent!

The current iteration is fully 3d printed at home by me, using a holographic build plate from and a SV04 IDEX I've given a bit of a tweak.

Some stats on the current gen Rave dice I'll be taking to in October:

- Version number: 7

- Material: TPU 95A (from )

- Time to build: 2 days printing, 4-5 hours building, 2-3 days leak testing and finishing

- Burst Pressure: Approx. 20psi

- Total dice in active rotation: 5

Any questions?

Been gathering footage for a reel about building the giant Rave dice and why it needs to be so puntable, had this particular moment in mind...

This was version 1 of my own built dice, on its very first outing ever, the first time it EVER came into contact with someone in a live setting - WHOOPSIE! (mortal kombat noises intensify)

I saw Lumin's Workshop and Jazza created the world's largest rollable d20 recently - impressive as hell, I want one that big! Only, I'd like it not to crush my Rave crowds 🤣

That said... Wanna do something together? Turns out we live in the same city, and I do make the biggest inflatable, rollable d20s around 😈

Build video for these suckers coming soon!

Many have asked, now I can finally give a simple explanation of what is and how it works!

I'll be bringing this chaos to in October and maybe a few other places in Australia before the final show down under in March next year - but when we hit UK shores in 2027, where do you want to see it played?

.jones snagged a pair of these recently from and my first reaction was I NEED THOSE!

They came extremely quickly considering they had to cross the entire globe to get here and the packaging was excellent - and tasty.

Great success, guess I'll be bringing these to Gumi Drop next month - and in October 😈

Ever wondered what happens in one of my Rave RPG sessions?

Stories, choices, dice based chaos, an absurd amount of natural 20s - oh, and a ton of Rave music, obviously!

Whether you choose to RAVE with your opponents or FIGHT your way through the land, your choices affect how the Rave ends - but relax, we're all here to have a good time right?

Right, Chara?

I'll be deep diving into some parts of this incredible live improv DJ production over the next couple of weeks as I get ready to bring it to in Liverpool in October!

Are you going to RAVE, or FIGHT?
