For nearly a decade, I’ve looked after local teams, national shows, and every emergency broadcast in between.

Joining the network that inspired me to DJ at just 5 years old (after hearing Soleman on the Hot 30 Countdown with Ugly Phil) was a pie-in-the-sky dream that somehow came true.

The best part though, finding long lost radio relatives across the country. People who share the same heart, and same obsessive chromosome.

After 7 brilliant years with SCA, I’m now re-joining my first ever network with ARN, under the first ever Content Director to give me a shot on-air

Very pumped to be joining in Wollongong, and supporting more long lost relatives, in what’s still a pie-in-the-sky job.

When I was 10, I heard a track on a CD that my sister borrowed from a friend. It’d be years until it got radio airtime.

After we gave the CD back, I couldn’t find the song for months. I finally came across it while watching Save The Last Dance, but it wasn’t on the official soundtrack so I had to physically tape it (from the actual movie scene it’s in) onto a cassette, that got played on the way to school every morning for a year.

Cut to 2016, our first ever RNB Fridays Live tour, and I couldn’t hold back tears while watching thousands of fans completely lose their s**t, as Scoop blew the roof off the place. He stole the show, and became our MC for every single Fridayz Live tour ever since.
Just hours later, he joined me on stage at the after party and embraced me like a favourite uncle. This full-circle joy carried me for years 🥹 I am so sad that we’ve lost him, but equally grateful to have this moment. RIP ❤️🙏
