I’m a Melbourne mixed-media floral artist who found painting later in life and now helps others rediscover creativity through Gelli printing, colour mixing, collage, workshops, and online courses—while creating joyful original art for beautiful homes.

Beautiful floral art doesn’t happen in a single step.

It happens one simple layer at a time.

🎨 Mix a beautiful colour palette.

🖨️ Pull a collection of hand-printed papers.

🌸 Create petal shapes.

🌿 Layer them together to create a finished floral collage.

Each step is simple on its own. It’s when they come together that the magic happens.

That’s exactly what I teach inside Petals & Prints™.

If you’ve ever admired this style of mixed media art but wondered where to begin, I’ll guide you through the entire process—from your very first print to a finished artwork you’ll be proud to hang on your wall.

🌿 Comment PETAL and I’ll send you all the details.

There was one sentence in a message from one of my students this week that I just couldn’t stop thinking about.

“I didn’t think I could do it.”

Over the years, I’ve received so many messages with those exact words.

Women who have always admired art from a distance.
Women who thought they weren’t creative.
Women who believed they had left it too late.

Janeen is 51.

She had been following my work for a long time before she finally decided to give it a go. Within a day she wrote to tell me she couldn’t stop creating.

Her message reminded me so much of my own journey.

I didn’t start painting until my 50s either.

If you’d told me back then that I’d one day be teaching art to thousands of women around the world, I would never have believed you.

Creativity isn’t reserved for a lucky few.

It’s something we discover by being willing to begin.

So if you’ve ever caught yourself thinking, “I’d love to try… but I don’t think I could,” I hope Janeen’s story encourages you to take that first step.

One of my favourite things about Gelli printing is that almost anything with texture can become a printing tool.

This print started with a simple crocheted doily. A little paint, a few layers, and suddenly you have beautiful organic marks that work perfectly in petals, leaves, and backgrounds.

I never really know what a print will become when I make it. I just know that good texture always finds a home somewhere in my gardens.

The best part? You probably already have plenty of printing tools hiding around your house.
