The wax journey is extremely slow and pedantic, while also being therapeutic and engrossing. I love it so much.
Follow along as I make a height defying ring with my most basic wax tools.
1. For this you’d need green wax and a spool of wax wire, as well as bezel wax.
2. For the tools, I just use a scalpel, pick and wax pen.
Optionally you could use a mandrel or these little cylinders to build up the wax on.
this is just a cute little experiment

Zircons get such a bad rap because they get conflated with cubic zirconia, which is a synthetic mass produced material, but zircons are natural, come in a gorgeous range of colours (my favourites are the taupes, peaches and browns) and still durable. I have been hoarding some lovely zircons because I can’t help myself around them. This gem is sourced from an International Colored Gemstone Association registered seller, THE GEM MONARCHY - Colored Gemstones 🩶
