Hey Everyone,
Firstly I want to apologise for not posting for a while, unfortunately we are no longer located at Hilltop Squash Centre and a we are not sure about a new location. It was a honour and pleasure working with everyone involved in the Hilltop Skateboarding community. I really hope that everyone can see the value skateboarding provides and continues to progress in the sport. I believe skateboarding is not about being the best it’s about enjoying yourself and learning from each other, it’s about friendship and supporting each other, its about persistence and commitment, it’s about picking your self up after failure, skateboarding is also such a individual sport it brings satisfaction that only a skater can experience once you make that trick that you failed a thousand times. Skateboarding offers progression and personal growth. Skateboarding is excepting of everyone, skateboarding doesn’t come with rules you set the rules.. hahaha except if you’re one of my students.. I only shared my most important rule with some people at Hilltop, my real number 1 rule is to put God before all things.. Rule 1 for the students at Hilltop was have fun and Rule 2 was relax. These rules are super important when skateboarding but also important for life. Everyone please have a great Christmas and safe New Year. Ps some of the kids and parents have been meeting at Maryborough Skatepark on Friday nights from about 6pm tonight we be the last one until next year so if you can make it we would love to see you there.
