Enjoy a quiet moment of reflection and connection, breathing in the salty air and admiring the ocean’s awesome power.

Modelled on the mirabilis shell, the spiralling formation of 'Spiral Shelter' by artist Kashmir Rouw highlights the geomorphological processes that have formed the coastline along the region.

Waves and westerly winds blew beach sand, broken seashells and corals into huge sand dunes, over time forming the limestone of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge on top of the granite substrate.

Commissioned by The Scissorhands Collective, Ed gave the artist Brendan of Hope Perth free reign to paint one of his favourite musicians, King Krule.

The British singer, songwriter and producer touched a generation with his fusion of alt rock, hip hop and jazz.

We all know and love Margaret River Bakery and now it just got even better with a new ultra cool mural to brighten your day by artist Francesca Williams.

Walks by the sea, croissant in hand, humpbacks breaching in the distance. Morning sun on my cheeks, plant shadows brightening the walkways.

’Shadows by the Sea’ is a celebration of the Margaret River coastal region, from its beaches and wildlife, to its forests and plants. Commissioned by Margaret River Bakery, the artwork features coastal plant shadows and mini croissants – one of the bakery’s best sellers!

We are huge fans of Kaiman's work. His latest mural 'Thorn the Echidna Dragon' is now part of our vibrant margs street art trail.

Thorn the Echidna Dragon travels through the skies
Elusive and fast, arriving at sun rise
A dragon of love
A dragon of light
Giving unassuming towns quite a fright
Thorn likes parties
He likes big crowds
So the best way to summon thorn
Is by getting a big group of friends
To shout happy and loud.

We celebrate the latest mural to hit the trails 'Cindy in Cow Town' by The Art of Aidan Lee Smith located in the backyard of Purple Crown Tattoo and Art Studio

This is a painting celebrating Cindy, a prominent First Nations figure inspiring young people through her community projects and modelling career. Focussing on a somewhat ambigious expression of hope, wonder and determination, featuring eucalyptus and wattles, a king protea and the local Cowara bird like the Purple Crowned Lorikeet.

Contrary to popular belief 'Cow Town' is named after this colourful little bird and not the cows, real and fibreglass dotted around the main street.

In light of NAIDOC week from 6-13 July and the theme 'The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy' celebrates not only the achievements of the past but the bright future ahead, empowered by the strength of our young leaders, the vision of our communities and the legacy of our ancestors.

Held across the country, NAIDOC Week will celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Cowaramup is a quirky and compact town encircled by undulating paddocks, as famous for its life-sized fibreglass cows as its wine and surf 🐄 🍇 🏄

The town name means ‘place of the cowara bird’ in language of the Wadandi Saltwater People, named after the purple crowned lorikeets that flit through the tallest trees.
Find artworks honouring the cowara birds and the Friesians, plus other themes important to the community in the Cowaramup Street Art Trail.

After you’ve explored the mosaic of artworks, explore some of the local produce and artisan wares peppered along the main street.

Dogs can sniff out cancer, lead the blind, or simply be a welcoming friend at the end of a hard day. Not only that, but they’re also willing to play silly games with us.

Artist Russell Sheridan celebrates man’s best friend in this sculpture tucked behind the sand dunes in Prevelly.

Located in one of the Shire’s dog exercise areas, this humorous sculpture reflects the unique bond and unconditional love between a dog and its human ❤️🐶

Take a beachside stroll and soak up the salt spray, sea view and sculptures on the Prevelly Coastal Art Trail.

Sculptures, installations and murals mimic the ebb and flow of water across sand, pay homage to fearless surfers and Prevelly’s heritage. Many artworks offer a place to reflect on the loss and subsequent rejuvenation following the fire and the community’s united strength. Start at the Rivermouth viewpoint and meander south to the White Elephant Café.
