Hi! I’m Emily; founder of Margaret River Performance for Kids

I juggle lesson plans, scripts, costumes, glitter, ideas, and a LOT of enthusiastic kids, all at the same time!

By day I’m a Performing Arts teacher (and mother of 3!) and by heart I’m a drama-loving, giftedness advocate, creativity-obsessed encourager of young people. I believe drama is about more than acting – it’s about helping kids grow into confident, brave, expressive humans.

💫 TERM 4 2026 DRAMA CLASSES!
Bookings for our 2026 Term 4 drama classes course will be open soon. No payment required until November.
▪️Term 4 2026 - a 6 week block
▪️Monday afternoons
▪️5-9 year old drama (45 mins) 3.45-4.30
▪️10+ year old drama (45 mins) 4.30-5.15
▪️$85 for the term 1 (6 week block)

🔸 A short course to improve skills in drama, characterisation and performance. Our class goal is always to help students gain confidence, communication, have fun and make some new friends!

It’s our last Drama lesson for Term 2 today!

Don’t forget - all parents/carers, siblings & families are welcomed back to the class for the final 15 minutes. Come and watch a short performance that the students have been working on 🤩

Our goal in drama is not ‘perfection,’ but rather risk taking, experimentation and trialling our different dramatic skills within our performances.
Will I support students by feeding them lines? Absolutely! Students will always be encouraged and supported to develop their creativity, collaboration and communication in different ways.

See students at their normal class time…
Then you are welcome to come back 15 mins before the end of the session (4.15pm for the first lower primary class; 5pm for the second upper primary class) 🤗🎭 Emily ✨

🎭 May: 4/5, * 18/5, 25/5 (*no lesson 11th May as venue is unavailable)

🎭 June: * 8/6, 15/6, 22/6, * (*no 1/6 due to public holiday; * venue N/A 29/6)

☄️ Performance in the last session - 22/6 ☄️

Class Times:
3.45-4.30pm - 5-9 year olds (45 minutes)
4.30-5.15pm - 10-13+ year olds (45 minutes)
