Do come along and enjoy a great afternoon
Thank you to The Horseless Cart for their support

I am organising a Charity Luncheon to raise funds for vulnerable orphans in Tanzania, and I would love you to join me for an afternoon of good food, w**e, song, and community.
My very good friends have supported their daughter Carley McHome in this mission for many years, and the results have been truly remarkable.
Ujamaa was founded in 2010 in Arusha, Tanzania, by Australian women Carley McHome and Lucy Bradlow. It provides a loving, stable, long-term home for children who do not have a safe environment to live in, along with holistic, trauma-informed support to help them thrive.
What began with five children has grown into Ujamaa Children’s Home, now caring for 24 children aged between 3 and 18 years.
Please refer to the attached flier for luncheon details. Bring your friends, and let’s fill our hearts with joy knowing that your support will enrich the lives of these beautiful children.
Numbers are limited, so please let me know early if you would like me to reserve a seat or table for you and your friends. If you are unable to attend but would still like to donate, please contact me.

Dear Susan
2026 Australia Day Award – Community Event of the Year Nomination
I am delighted to advise that the Opera on High has been nominated for the above award and I would like to offer my congratulations.
On 25 April 2025, Mansfield’s main street came alive for an open-air concert bringing together families, friends, and visitors to enjoy local w**e, craft brews, gourmet food, and world-class performances by BravOz Opera which captivated everyone. This free event, hosted by Mansfield Winemakers, provided an opportunity for all attendees to enjoy world class talent whilst enjoying food, conversation and a sense of connection. The event showcased not just incredible talent, but also the passion and generosity of Mansfield’s local producers, w**emakers, and volunteers who made it all possible. Together, this resulted in a magical and inclusive evening that attendees described as “uplifting” and “pure Mansfield”.
On behalf of my fellow Councillors, I invite you to attend our Australia Day Celebrations to be held at the Botanic Park, Mansfield commencing at 8.30am on Monday, 26 January 2026 when the award winners will be announced.
