Well, the weather is looking lovely again. I even got a swim in on Monday!

In other news I have permission to use the Olympic dive pool at the Sleeman centre!
I can't wait to have all the free room to move beneath the water!!!

Queensland is often blessed with sunny blue skies, but the last week has been cold, wet and overcast. This mermaid has been pining for fairer weather to swim in, especially for outdoor swimming.
That said, I am talking with an Olympic Sports complex close by that has an indoor dive pool! Here is hoping my request to train there goes through and I can start practising more twists and turns beneath the water.

Looking forward to sending more updates, snapshots and videos.

So, I put together a little video compilation of my first swim as a mermaid. The footage was taken from clips captured via my phone and edited into this video.

Nothing special, but a good memento to commemorate a special moment in my life.

So for the select friends seeing this page for the first time and who do not yet know... I uh... Got my fins!

Most of you will know I've always been in love with swimming and have almost always used dolphin style. Well some friends online got together to make a dream come true and so now I have a full mermaid tail 🫣

Made by Mertailor Mermaid Tails By Eric Ducharme in Florida and shipped over to sunny QLD Australia.

Tried it out last weekend and it's just... Perfect. So easy to swim in, I'm obsessed hahaha.

Getting used to Facebook as a social media platform. I had previously made a FB profile for my mermaid antics, without realizing that profiles are not designed/allow for alias's etc. So needless to say, it got blocked.

Thankfully I had made this, a proper page (in the past, I'd forgotten about it) that I have since been able to utilize!

I'll be posting the content here when I get a moment.
