Our Kinnection

Supports Aboriginal Children, Young People & Families, by delivering quality programs and mentoring.

Cultural Support Mentoring -We ensure that Aboriginal children and young people remain connected to their culture, we provide strong advocacy to ensure their voices are heard and develop a strong sense of connection and belonging. We develop and deliver cultural support plans for children and young people in out of home care.

⚫️🔴🟡OUR KINNECTION IS COMING TO PMPS! ⚫️🔴🟡

We are excited to announce that Our Kinnection will be joining us at Pelaw Main Public School from Week 9!

We are incredibly grateful to the Pelaw Main P&C Association, who have fully funded the entire 10-week Our Kinnection program for all our students. A huge thank you to our P&C for continuing to invest in meaningful learning opportunities and experiences for our students.

We can't wait to welcome Vicky and Joey to PMPS!

The last two weeks students learnt the Dreaming story of the Black Snake, they performed the song and dance and created their own snake art pieces♥️🖤💛

♥️🖤💛Today we had the privilege of taking our “Dhirrabuu Dancers” from Rutherford Public School to Maroba Nursing home for a cultural showcase this is the second year in a row now and the students loved it 🙌🏾

It was also a wonderful way to celebrate National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day!
