Starting at the Narooma breakwater, you’ll find stunning ocean views where the Wagonga Inlet meets the sea, with seals often lounging on the rocks and surfers catching waves near Bar Beach. Just beyond Bar Beach is the famous Australia Rock, a natural rock formation shaped like the map of Australia and a great spot for photos, especially at sunrise or sunset. From there, follow the path along the inlet to the Narooma Boardwalk, a scenic timber walkway where you can spot stingrays, fish, and the occasional dolphin gliding beneath you. Continuing toward town, you’ll reach the marina, where fishing charters and glass-bottom boat tours depart, and you can enjoy fresh seafood or coffee overlooking the water. The walk ends at the Narooma Bridge, offering sweeping views up the Wagonga Inlet — the perfect place to watch pelicans drift by or take in a classic South Coast sunset.
