Missed us in Sydney? Fear not!

Ducking up to Eora/sydney as .forrest celebrated 20 years of DJing at with a marathon six hour set that ended up being a very long SWEATY b2b, so here it is in all of its six hour glory.

Performing once again in one of our favourite spaces in Sydney, where the tiny club lifts the roof off time and time again, Sophie ran the gamut of her two decades of DJing, from breaks to psytrance to funk to disco and hip-hop.

This mix features many of the tunes we played at Tropical Fruits with some musical excursions that the crowd was not expecting at all; they heaved and went mad for it. I was sincerely so delighted by the response from everyone, each person was there in the moment, reacting to everything we played.

There were so many fun little moments, my favourite being a young woman who was an Underworld stan like me, so I asked her what tune to play and we agreed on Dark Train. For ten minutes we shared a lovely moment and she was overjoyed.

Thanks to Club 77 for having us and congrats to my gal Sophie for slinging a madcap, decade spanning set that left us all dying for more.

SWEATY returned to the decks after a two year absence, making our Tropical Fruits debut at Galore ‘24, New Year’s Eve 2024.

Playing fast and furious to the qu**rs welcomed to Bundjalung country, SWEATY kicked off 2025 with a bang, with breaks, techno, house, psytrance, b***y, funk, electro and big beat cutting between each other for 2.5 hours. It was a heaving sweatbox and we’re finally landing back to earth.

Thank you to all who danced and especially Tropical Fruits Galore'24 for having us. ✨

NEW MIX!! A long time ago, in the depths of the first months of COVID-19, SWEATY reunited!

Sophie Forrest and I got together, to DJ for a virtual event, on Twitch, from my living room in the inner north of Naarm/melbourne.

We used a very hack-y, wonky setup, using a Pioneer controller, a Macbook Pro placed on my crappy desk, Serato and OBS for the audio; the best angle I could use a GorillaPod holding my iPhone for the video, as I had so little room I had to move my furniture to get the angle right, and to cap it off, a Phillips Hue light to make my tiny place more visually interesting.

The recording is abruptly started and ended, for reasons I cannot figure out! I stumbled across this file three years later, and macOS is telling me it was done in 2016 (wrong!) and the recording starts 25 mins into our set (very odd).
