15-year old Alex Young has a record of achieving Higher Distinction results for all his St. Cecilia piano examinations. He was awarded 96% (HD) for the St. Cecilia Grade 8 examination in June this year with an advanced programme including Beethoven, Grieg and Bartok. What a sensational start to the teaching year for guests at Bernies Music Land’s Piano Educators Day!

Teachers were treated to a 10-step presentation by Bernie, with introductions by Josie Thomas of the Victorian Music Teachers' Association, Bernard Depasquale and Robert Dugdale from AMEB, Kristen Craggs from ANZCA Music Examinations and Patricia Morgan From St Cecilia School of Music.
