Those of you who have been following my personal page will be aware that renovations on the Potato Shed Gallery are near completion. For our very first exhibition we will be showing works from our Private Collection. The exhibition will comprise works from more than 20 Brushes With Life Artists which we have purchased, been gifted, inherited or not managed to return to their makers due to the stupid virus. Entitled "FAVORITES", the exhibition will be available for viewing from Sunday 21 June by appointment any day of the week, in groups of under 20 at a time. In coming days I will set up a proper event to manage this, or you can contact me by messenger

Merran and Leonie started a tradition with Brushes With Life: when an artist wins a prize in a BWL exhibition, they are given the responsibility of being a Judge themselves. Celia Gant chose Jasmine Thomas' work on paper titled "Teenage Angst". Jasmine received $100 cash and both her entries sold

last minute rush before hanging tomorrow for Brushes With Life - LIFE IS... exhibition. I have paint on my fingers and about 80% of our fantastic artist's work in my car. Blame the paint fumes, or the energy of being surrounded by inspired people either way, I am getting very excited now

Exhibition on this weekend, everyone welcome!
Reminder for Artists: I am collecting from Mira's house in Mount Waverley tomorrow afternoon around 1 pm, and from Harndorfs Chocolate Shop in Ferntree Gully on Thursday at 11. Art can also be delivered directly to the gallery from 10 -12 on Friday. All work needs to be supplied with hanging wire attached with screws, labelled with your name, Title and Price on the back of your work. Please bring your entry fee with your artwork. Hanging is on Friday afternoon and doors open to the public from 10 am on Saturday
