Last night we had our first season with the Australian Shakespeare Company live streaming their “Comedy Of Errors” show! We had out 4 SonY SRG300 PTZ cameras paired with our Sony FS5 Cine cameras all mixed in with the Blackmagic ATEM 4ME! Excited to be working on more shows this year!

FREEDOM AT LAST! Coming out of lockdown has never been aa exciting for us as we welcome the biggest turning point in our production work flow!
Introducing the Blackmagic ATEM 4M/E Broadcast Studio 4K along and accompanying it the Video Hub 40x40 and also a Decklink Quad 2 (not pictured)!
These will expand our input capabilities to 20 inputs up to 12G (4K 60p) and allow for surpersourcing goodness! The video hub now allows us to reconfigure and patch and flexibly allowing us to record up to 8 channels simulataneously for ISO recording.
We are extremely excited to have these on up coming jobs in the coming months and excited to bring thr next level of production to our current and future customers!

Whilst lock down was a quiet time for some, it was a busy period for our inventory as we welcome the BlackMagic Ursa Mini 4K to our family as we hope to integrate BlackMagic's Cinema line into our work flow.

For the past week we were at Darebin Arts Centre test and tagging their whole entire venues assets and infrastructure!
We offered asserted items for their team to keep track of inventory along with integrating their logo into the test tag for quick and easy pin point of their assets surfing load outs.
We ended up with nearly 1000 items passed within 3 days on a single machine!

For the past two weeks we were at Camberwell Boys Grammar School for their annual maintenance. Along with maintaining their fixtures, we repaired faulty and loud fans and moving parts and gave the love their infrastructure needed with relevant labelling and markings to make future stock resets easier and navigating around easier with relevant dmx, patch and fixture ID information.
We also tested and tagged all fixtures in the venue which came along with a database with all relevant information such as serial numbers, asset numbers and notes.
Lighting bars and dimmers all got labelling love with locations, dmx addresses which partner up with their patch points on the bar and standardization of the venue to make the stock rig cleaner and for additional equipment for larger shows more efficient when it comes to patching and addressing.

Tonight we are at Zendesk Melbourne providing ambient lighting and effects along with PA system needs for their Software Throu Art event.

Another week of esports again! This week our gear is at Genesis Internet Cafe powering the stream for CappingTV's LAN Down Under Team Fortress 2 Tornament. We have provided our Sony Apha Series camera kit paired with our Sennheiser Wireless kit for the stream. Capturing with our Elgato and Razer solutions. For set, we have our TV on stage lit with our fluro studio softboxes.

Well what can we say? The curtain closed almost two weeks ago, and our hearts have just been so full.
We have so many people that we'd love to thank for making The Wizard of Oz such an amazing experience!
Thank you, firstly, to our magnificent Production Team, Joseph Simms, Melissa Karakaltsas, Adam Richardson and Louisa Dortenzio. Thank you for making this show such a delight. Thank you to our amazing cast who made this experience painless and memorable.

Who knew that putting on a concert would be so much work? And who knew that it would feel so rewarding?
It is so hard to ignore the history that exists within the Waterdale family, and it was so humbling to be involved, to be able to watch friends reuniting after many years, to see performers reliving some of their most treasured memories on stage. Finally, to hear such positive feedback from those who simply came to watch.
Everyone at the Rivergum Theatre on Saturday April 13th has been affected, in some way by Waterdale. If not, we would not still be here. With that we would like to thank the previous committees who paved the way for us, and provided such fond memories for so many.
