Skyrail Rainforest Cableway with some seriously cool looking Hi-Vis workwear 😎

I created this design for Skyrail a few years back and I just love seeing how they have made use of it 🤩

My design now features in their Smithfield foyer, on their uniforms, in the Skyrail app and now on these!

Once a year during NAIDOC week the Kuranda Scenic Railway hold a special celebration. As part of the celebrations commentary from Djabugay stories are shared by rangers on the train’s PA system of places as you travel along the tracks through Country.

The stories tell of Ganyarra (crocodile) and his place at the lower Barron where he bit Damarri’s leg, a creation hero to our Djabugay Bama. There is also Ngunba (platypus) who has a special home in the meeting place of Ngunbay (Kuranda). Mayila the traditional story of the couple turned to stone at what is now known as Robb’s monument and Buda:dji (carpet snake) bringing gifts of Miya-miya (nautilus shells) for the people of the tablelands in exchange for dilly bags is also shared as part of the Barron river’s creation story.

This year I am proud to share with you all this artwork that I created for 🛤️ This piece is set to feature in some of the tour guides and publications of the putting a year-round spotlight on our traditional stories for visitors to enjoy as they travel on the iconic Kuranda Train through our beautiful corner of the world.
