A source of sweet nectar for nectar feeding marsupials such as the Sugar Gliders or Pygmy Possums, Birds such as the Eastern Spinebill and New Holland Honeyeaters will seek them out. Attracting varied Insect pollinator species such as Native Bees, Butterflies and Wasps creating foodweb dynamics. An Ecosystem Keystone species! Supporting the food chain for many. The main Flowering Season is from February to July but has the ability to flower throughout the year providing a source of nectar and colour year round. 💛🌿🦋🏵🐝

Kunzea pomifera or Muntries is a local woody groundcover a member of the Myrtacea Family which makes them a relative of the Eucalyptus, Melaleucas and Callistemons.
Muntrie Berries are a Superfood with high antioxidant content 4 times higher than blueberries, high in fibre, vit C, iron, magnesium and calcium. Waxes in the fruits and leaves are excellent for skin and wound healing having antimicrobial and antiflammatory properties with attributes to calm muscular soreness.
This Totemic species has ancient Cultural Connections of tradition to Country for First Nations People for food, medicine and the Ecological Values for supporting Biodiversity and Caring for Country. This special plant brings us closer to the Land the Health of Body and Growing and Gathering with Spirit.🌿👣

Xanthorrhoea australis or Austral Grass Tree grows on poor sandy soils usually associated with the Brown Stringybark Country in the Lower SE. An Ancient heritage 35 million years old they have been described as living fossils and are highly adapted to fire. They are a long lived species and can survive 400 years to 600 years old. Populations have diminished due to historic land clearance and today are protected. First Nations have utilised this important Cultural plant for resin, food, tools and fire sticks an Australian species of such high Ecological and Cultural Value 🌿👣🪃

Too hot atm so its abit risky 🌱🌱🌱🌱Always good to water with Seasol for transplant shock and heat stress, drought resistance and to support potting media water retention and Seasol is a good soil conditioner to prevent hydrophobic soil conditions (water repellentancy). Keep your seeds wet or moist for germination to be successful.
Shade cloth is best for extreme heat. We double up on extreme heat days.🌞🌳🌿
