Ya gettin’ a row of these photos coz they cured my body dysmorphia and had me so gassed up on my own juices I could fight a god (ooor Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga 👀)😌✨

Safe to say, this impulse cos-test exceeded my expectations and I’ll be glued to my sewing machine in the very near future.

I never posted these photos and that’s a tragedy I’m fixing now 🙏🏼🫦

Sh***ri has been an interest of mine since I was a teenager. It’s very tied up (lol) in who I am as a person and understanding what it means and represents to me has helped me figure out who I am as a person.

It has also helped me realise that when I really love something, I struggle to pursue it. I’ll keep telling myself the “right” time will come or the “right” person and just end up giving my autonomy away and telling myself it’s because I’m being patient.

I when really, I’m just scared.

Scared that it won’t do it right.
Scared I’ll do it too loud.
Scared I’ll do it too cringe.
Scared I’m “too into it”
Scared of hurting someone trying to do it

Scared I’m going to fail at something so deeply personal and important to me I’ll have proved to myself that I wasn’t deserving of it in the first place.

But the older I get, the less this mindset feels like protection and the more it feels like a cage.

And the more I want to be free from that 😌🪽
