From first steps to professional stages, QCD Junior & Youth inspires confident and creative performers through quality training and a love of dance. At Promenade Dance Studio, we aim to inspire each student to realise his or her own potential, and are committed to providing the highest quality dance education in a positive and encouraging learning environment. Continually motivating students to work to the best of their ability, we place an emphasis on nurturing the creativity and individuality of each student, while still maintaining and developing the more demanding technical and aesthetic aspects of dance. We believe Promenade is ‘for Fun, for Friends, for Life… For Dance’.

Follow a sparkling winter adventure filled with Reindeer, Snowmen, delicate Snow Angels and dancing Snowflakes as our dancers bring the magic of the season to life. But watch out… the Winter Witch may have a few surprises in store! ❄️✨

Some of our BDP (Ballet Development Program) students were treated to a special Q&A this week with QCD alumni and current professional dancer, Tahlia Szumowski. Tahlia

Currently home for her summer break, Tahlia generously shared her time, experiences and insights with our students, answering some curious questions!

As a young student, Tahlia was also part of our BDP program, making this a particularly special full-circle moment. She had the opportunity to watch our BDP 2 students rehearse their dance for our upcoming story ballet – the very same dance Tahlia performed when she was their age!

Tahlia has spent the past year with Bayerisches Junior Ballett and will return to Munich at the end of this week to begin her first year with the full company.

It was such a pleasure to welcome Tahlia back to QCD and to see her share her journey with the next generation of dancers. Her openness, generosity and passion for ballet gave our students a wonderful insight into the dedication and experiences that come with pursuing a career in professional dance.

Thank you, Tahlia, for inspiring our students and for taking the time to share your journey with them. We loved having you back at QCD and wish you every success as you begin this exciting new chapter with the full company! 💕
