This week we were lucky enough to have this small group of legends visit Behind The Pines for a lunch date. It was a nice relaxing bbq lunch amongst the pines. We look forward to them coming back again soon 🌲 🌲 🌲

It’s that time again, Behind The Pines is looking for a new caretaker. We are located at 6 Pine Street Kalpowar QLD 4630. We are a quiet camp averaging one campsite booking per day. To be our caretaker you need to be honest, kind, family orientated and enjoy gardening. Not a lot of jobs need to be done, we have one ammenities block with two toilets and one shower and a small camp kitchen. Main duties will be gardening and mowing in the wet season, we have a zero turn ride on to make mowing a breeze. We offer FREE rent, power and water in a relaxed and quiet small village. Closest town is Monto which is 40kms away and has all the shops and fuel stations. There is full Telstra coverage. You will need your own van/camper etc

Batteries running low? No problem, you can recharge with us here at Behind The Pines. Hot Shower, Kitchenette, toilets, fire pit, we have it all. No firewood? No problem, our neighbour sells bags of hardwood timber at a cheap price.
