MODIFIEDS ARE BACK AT HORSHAM! 🔥

The wait is OVER! The VMPA All States Rigging Series kicks off its 2026/27 season right here in Horsham this weekend, and with a stacked field ready to do battle, you won't want to miss it!

22 DRIVERS. ONE TRACK. PLENTY OF ACTION!

22 DRIVERS. ONE TRACK. LET'S GO! 🏁

The nominations are in, and the stage is set for Round 1 of the VMPA All States Rigging Series!

A strong field of fierce competitors is ready to hit the track, with a few names we haven't seen for a while and some new faces joining the action!

The 2025/26 Series Champion, Brody Chrystie, and runner-up, Kye Walters, are both missing from the field for Round 1, with new car builds currently underway. However, fellow series placegetters Lachlan Fitzpatrick, Stuey Robinson and Graham West will all be looking for a strong start to the season.

Round 1 sees the return of former VMPA Series Champion Andrew Blackwell to the series in the N5 Commodore. Blackwell is a driver who's sure to get the crowd excited!

Other drivers returning to the series after brief absences include the AV14 of Matt Gerlach, HO33 of Daniel Simpson, MDA6 of Wade McCarthy and HL45 of Shaun Thompson.

Current Victorian Champion Brad Wicks is Wimmera-bound, alongside his brother Michael Wicks in the BGO14. Current Kings Royal Champion and VMPA President, Darcy Wilson will be keen to make a strong start to the season in the B5. Interstate competitors Drew Harrison and Brett Williams, along with series newcomer Gerrard Mabbitt, are welcome additions to the nominations list.

A mix of series regulars, including Tristan McGraw, Bella Rizzoli, Jeff Leahy, Heath Baillie, Daniel Wilson, Bailey Turner, John D**e and Andrew D**e, round out the field for the opening round.

The question is, who will come out swinging and leave Horsham on Saturday night as the early series leader?

🌧️ PRACTICE DAY CANCELLED 🌧️

Unfortunately, due to the recent rain and current track conditions, Blue Ribbon Raceway’s Practice Day scheduled for tomorrow has been CANCELLED.

The weather hasn’t been on our side, and the track simply isn’t in a suitable condition to safely run the day.

We know plenty of drivers were looking forward to getting some laps in, and we’re just as disappointed. Thanks to those who were nominated, snd we appreciate your understanding. 🏁

Blue Ribbon Raceway is opening the gates for a Practice Day on Saturday October 3rd, Welcoming Qtr Midgets and registered SSA/VSC cars.

The Horsham Motor Sports Club held a very successful AGM on Wednesday night August 5th.

Reports were received from the President, Secretary, Treasurer and Track and Grounds team. These highlighted the seasons achievements, a steady hardworking membership, a financially profitable season and many improvements to our raceway.

We can announce that the 2026/27 Committee is as follows -
