"The View from Here" is the result of that mission. By collaborating with the local arts community, we have curated an exhibition that showcases the diverse perspectives of our region. This exhibition is more than just a show; it is a testament to our commitment to ensuring Ipswich artists have a professional platform to share their work right where they live.

Entries for the 2026 Queensland Regional Art Awards are officially open.

The QRAA is Australia's largest regional art awards program, open to artists living in regional, rural and remote Queensland. With a prize pool of $326,800, including cash prizes, solo exhibitions, residencies and professional development opportunities, this is your moment to be seen, supported and celebrated for your work.

We are seeking artists with a connection to Ipswich to join this collaborative community exhibition at the Ipswich Community Gallery. Remember, all works must be square (60cm x 60cm including frame) and wall-mounted.
