✨ Completely transported ✨
m.mcdonald and ’s exhibition at Berninneit Art Gallery. Wow. Wow. Wow. Totally blown away.

Taking it all in, it was something special. 💛 It was moving, atmospheric and quietly powerful.

So proud to see two past ArtCube artists continuing to create work that connects so deeply with people and place. 🙌

The sun warmed our skin, but these kids warmed our hearts. ☀️❤️

It was a joy to welcome Aylah, alongside her wonderful carers, to the ArtCube. Together, they created a 3D wheelchair complete with a tiny version of Aylah sitting proudly in it.

Using only her eyes to communicate, Aylah told us she loves her community because it’s wheelchair friendly.

She wasn’t the only one who left a mark. Dozens of kids dropped by to add to the installation and share what community means to them.

Pop by the ArtCubes this September and see the installation grow. You might just leave with a full heart 💚

What does community mean to you?

We asked Hiro (aka ) this question, and his answer stayed with us.

“This artwork was created in 2021 in Lille, France.

The inspiration came from the wide range of wild flora I found growing around the wall. In nature, many different plants of varied forms, sizes, and colours co-exist.  Each species adapts to its environment, some thrive in warmer areas, others in cooler or shaded places. Some remain rooted in one spot, while others disperse their seeds far away through wind or water.  Together, they form an ever changing yet balanced ecosystem. This made me reflect on what community means. Like wild flora, a healthy community is formed when individuals, big and small, near and far, each with different roles, coexist and adapt in harmony.  Through constant change, shifting positions, and shared cycles, the community sustains itself.”

Thank you, Hiro, for being a part of our community, working alongside two young local creatives and inviting them into your process so openly.  Together you’ve left something truly special for our community to share ✨

He’s off to Samoa to be a surf guide for a month 🌴 but you’ll be able to see these artworks proudly displayed in the ArtCubes this October.

Pure generosity from Twoone / Hiroyasu Tsuri in Leongatha. Mentoring two young people, sharing his process, his art, his energy, and his vision with our community.

What a gift. 🙏

A leading Australian street artist says his public works are an exchange, rather than him just leaving his mark.

Painted over.
Blank again.
It looks like they’ve been touched by angels.

The beautiful murals by Melanie Caple Artist… Full of colour, life and meaning, have now returned to stillness. But they’re not lost. They’re part of the story.

Shogyo Mujo (諸行無常)

We’re sitting in the quiet between artworks right now. But something new is coming.

Stay with us.
