Finally getting around to posting some snippets from our end-of-year singing concert (donāt mind the dodgy video quality š).
This time I decided that no one was allowed to sing alone. A bold choice. A chaotic choice. A schedulingā¦.nightmare! But I really wanted to foster community and collaboration - and boy, did we have some fun doing it! We had best friends performing together, and people who had only met a few times sharing the stage. In total, an amazing 17 acts, 27 performers and 6 instruments (including voice!)! I even got to have a sing as one of our performers couldnāt make it on the day!
Iām so proud of our amazing singing community for coming together and creating a wonderful afternoon of joyful music! And not only that, but we raised a whopping $550 for our chosen organisation, Breakthrough T1D, which supports people living with type 1 diabetes and finding a cure.
Thankyou to everyone who helped out at the event, especially to my boyfriend Tim for his amazing support both on the day and leading up to it (and for his amazing singing, ukulele and guitar talent)!
