This is our second year of writing our yearly singing goals on bunting to hang in the studio! Except today I found Finley there not looking very impressed! I think he felt left out of writing goals of his own!

Finally getting around to posting some snippets from our end-of-year singing concert (don’t mind the dodgy video quality 😂).

This time I decided that no one was allowed to sing alone. A bold choice. A chaotic choice. A scheduling….nightmare! But I really wanted to foster community and collaboration - and boy, did we have some fun doing it! We had best friends performing together, and people who had only met a few times sharing the stage. In total, an amazing 17 acts, 27 performers and 6 instruments (including voice!)! I even got to have a sing as one of our performers couldn’t make it on the day!

I’m so proud of our amazing singing community for coming together and creating a wonderful afternoon of joyful music! And not only that, but we raised a whopping $550 for our chosen organisation, Breakthrough T1D, which supports people living with type 1 diabetes and finding a cure.

Thankyou to everyone who helped out at the event, especially to my boyfriend Tim for his amazing support both on the day and leading up to it (and for his amazing singing, ukulele and guitar talent)!

So proud to announce that our student Nori will be playing Duffy in Annie at QPAC next month!! Nori has been a dedicated singing student for years, and loves her dance and drama lessons at Kidz n Co too! We are so proud of her achievement and can’t wait to see her shine on the professional stage later this year! 👏👏👏

The students have been working extra hard towards this year’s end-of-year concert! Instead of our usual solos, this concert will only consist of duos, trios and group numbers! Plus we’re having our annual fundraiser for a worthy cause - this year for BreakthroughT1D, an organisation that helped one of our very own students through her type 1 diabetes diagnosis.

Tickets at the door and everyone is welcome! Can’t wait to see you there!

This week our beloved student Nori not only auditioned, but was called back for the Brisbane season of Annie! We have all our fingers and toes crossed for her as we await their decision. We are so proud of her no matter the outcome! Well done Nori!

✨ Last week we had an incredible time at our two-day “Back to Broadway” holiday workshop! ✨
Our talented group of primary school performers brought the stage to life with songs from Annie, Mary Poppins, and Wicked, culminating in a heartwarming performance at Brigidine College Indooroopilly.
We were so impressed by their energy, dedication, and love for performing 💫
