🎧 STUDIO ROOKIE WORKSHOP SERIES 1 🎶

Our Studio Rookie crew spent three workshops learning the ins and outs of basic music production - from setting up a studio and recording vocals to building their own tracks in GarageBand. It was so much fun watching everyone gain confidence, get creative and discover what goes on behind the scenes of making music.

A massive thank you to everyone who jumped in and gave it a go! You guys are a true inspiration to me and I feel so lucky to be able to work with such rad youths. 💙

This project was proudly supported by the Regional Arts WA through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, with funding from the State Government of Western Australia.

Big thanks as well to Rave About Arts and the Hopetoun CRC for helping make it happen. 🎤✨

Studio Shuggi is proud to be one half of Hopey N.O.I.S.E and we’re tunrting it up for 2026! 💅

We’re fundraising for a PA upgrade so we can run more free community music programs, mentoring sessions and regional events.

TOOT TOOT!

Hopey Open Mic has officially levelled up – we’re now bringing the music, the mayhem, and the mildly chaotic magic to the Port Hotel as well as Wavecrest!

Come break in the Port with us for our very first open mic there – same Hopey energy, new spot to make a racket. Whether you’re a mic-hogging legend or just here for the pub chips and local talent, it’s gonna be a ripper.

HEY! I did a thing for one of my fave artists Tom Aspaul and I’m still recovering from it because it was easily one of the most challenging things I’ve tackled. I’m so proud of myself for taking it on and bloody chuffed that Tom trusted me with it. I’ve learned a lot and also had a wikid time lol. Anyway I love Tom and you should too. His new album is out May 19th xx

Currently, we are collaborating with the Hopetoun Community Resource Centre to produce the shire's very own local podcast called The Fitzy Files! Studio Shuggi is editing and engineering the episodes, the first one was launched on Feb 21st!
